Dimension Inx Honored as Winner of the 23rd Annual Chicago Innovation Awards

November 15, 2024 - Dimension Inx has been named one of the winners of the 23rd annual Chicago Innovation Awards. The winners were announced at this year’s event held on Thursday, November 14th at the UIC Forum. The annual Chicago Innovation Awards highlights Chicago’s most innovative and groundbreaking new products or services introduced to the market each year.

Dimension’s award-winning innovation, Hyperelastic Bone®, is a unique, synthetic bone graft material that offers a more effective and user-friendly regenerative solution for clinical applications. The first product utilizing this cutting-edge technology,, CMFlex™, is a flexible, ready-to-use 3D-printed bone graft substitute. Notably, CMFlexTM is the first 3D-printed regenerative bone product cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in oral and maxillo-facial indications. CMFlex offers an effective, safer, and time-saving alternative to traditional bone grafts, greatly benefiting both surgeons and patients.

“The Chicago region continues to be a global leader in innovation” remarked Tom Kuczmarski, co-founder of the awards. “The 2024 winners are solving unmet needs and making a difference in healthcare, finance, the environment, artificial intelligence, education, consumer products, energy, manufacturing, social services, economic development, food, and government.

“We are truly honored to receive this recognition from the Chicago Innovation Awards,” said Ramille Shah, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer and co-founder of Dimension Inx. “Hyperelastic Bone® and CMFlex™ signify our commitment to advancing therapies that enhance patient outcomes. This award validates our mission and inspires us to continue innovating within Chicago's dynamic innovation ecosystem.”

As part of their recognition, winning organizations will also have the opportunity to ring the Nasdaq Bell in New York City to celebrate their achievements on a national stage.

“350 organizations were nominated for this year’s awards,” said Luke Tanen, President and CEO of Chicago Innovation. “As a group, these nominees are responsible for generating over $4.2 billion in new revenues and creating nearly 6,000 jobs. The winners represent the best from this already very impressive group.”
