Company Announcement
Dimension Inx Announces Issuance of Multiple Patents, Further Expanding their Portfolio of Novel Biomaterials for Regenerative Therapeutics Applications
February 21, 2024 - We are excited to announce the recent issuance of two patents, U.S. Patent No. 11,896,740, which covers the manufacture of our highly tunable and porous Fluffy-X™ material family, and U.S. Patent No. 11,904,071, which covers the manufacture and use of our decellularized ECM-based Tissue Papers™ material family.
These material families highlight our platform’s unique capabilities - the control of both material structure and composition without compromising the ability to form complex constructs that demonstrate excellent handling properties and mechanical integrity. Our approach to the design and manufacture of advanced biomaterials for #tissuetherapeutic applications emphasizes the cellular and tissue microenvironment. We embrace the complex interplay between biology, material composition, microstructure, and macroarchitecture to direct optimal cell behavior and to create #regenerativemedicine products that rebuild healthy tissues and restore organ function.
Shout out to our co-founders, Ramille Shah, Ph.D., and Adam E. Jakus, PhD, who co-developed these technologies from nearly a decade of research at Northwestern University’s Tissue Engineering and Additive Manufacturing Lab. We are continuing to expand upon their foundation and advance our patent portfolio at Dimension Inx.
